In 2018, there were an estimated 1,403 pregnant smokers in South Dakota. 

  • 66 (4.7%) enrolled in SD QuitLine services. 
    • 54 phone
    • 11 Kickstart Kits 
    • 1 Quit Guide 
  • 77.8% of those enrolled completed at least one coaching call. 
    • 74.1% enrolled by phone. 
    • 13% enrolled through a warm transfer. 
    • 9.3% were referred by a healthcare provider.
    • 3.7% enrolled on the website.
